3. FAQ

Does RT Calculator work offline?

Yes. Core calculations and local records are designed to work offline. The current release does not use a developer-operated backend service.

Where are history and favorites stored?

They are stored locally in the app container on your device. They are not uploaded by the app to developer-operated servers.

Does the app request Camera, Location, Photos, or Microphone permissions?

No. The current release does not request those system privacy permissions.

Can I use the result directly for field exposure decisions?

No. The app is a calculation aid. Before operational use, verify results against approved procedures, source certificates, exposure charts, local radiation safety rules, and qualified professional judgment.

How should I report a suspected formula or unit issue?

Email the exact calculator name, all input values and units, the displayed output, the expected result, and the standard, chart, or derivation you used for comparison.
