Privacy by design: LinkQR processes URL-to-QR generation on your device. We do not collect personal data, do not track users, and do not upload your QR tasks or history to remote servers.

1. Data Collection

LinkQR is designed for local-first use. We do not collect:

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number).
URLs, QR history, favorites, or batch task payloads from your device.
Location data, contacts, microphone data, or photo library contents.
Advertising identifiers, device tracking identifiers, or behavioral analytics.

2. Local Processing and Storage

All core LinkQR features run on-device, including Safari extension intake, QR rendering, and export generation.

History, favorites, and style preferences are stored only in app-local storage.
Batch inputs are validated locally (HTTP/HTTPS) and capped at 200 items per batch.
Generated export files are created locally on your device.
No account registration is required.
If you uninstall the app, local data is removed by the system.

3. Permissions

LinkQR may request limited permissions only for user-triggered actions:

Photos (Add Only): used only when you choose to save a generated QR image to Photos.
Safari Extensions: used only to receive URLs from the active tab or selected tabs after your explicit action.

4. Third-Party Services

LinkQR does not include third-party advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or external analytics services in the current release. The App Store privacy label is aligned with Data Not Collected.

5. Children's Privacy

LinkQR is a productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.

6. Policy Updates

If privacy-related behavior changes in future releases, this page will be updated with a new effective date.
