LinkQR (Safari URL to QR Generator)
Quick Start
- Enable Safari extensions: Settings -> Safari -> Extensions -> LinkQR (Share/Web Extension).
- Single URL flow: in Safari Share Sheet, choose LinkQR to generate a QR code in one tap.
- Batch flow: in LinkQR Web Extension, turn off "Only send active tab" to import all tabs in current window.
- Export generated QR codes in PNG/SVG/PDF, then reuse from History/Favorites.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the app require an internet connection?
Core QR generation and export are local. Internet is only needed by Safari itself when opening web pages.
LinkQR does not appear in Safari. How do I fix it?
Go to Settings -> Safari -> Extensions, find LinkQR, and enable it. Then return to Safari and open the Share Sheet or Extensions menu again.
Make sure both Share Extension and Web Extension are enabled for full functionality.
How many URLs can I process in one batch?
Up to 200 URLs per batch task. Extra items beyond 200 are rejected by design.
What URL formats are supported?
HTTP and HTTPS URLs are supported. Invalid or unsupported schemes are filtered locally.
Which export formats are available?
PNG, SVG, and PDF are supported. You can share files directly or save PNG to Photos.
What data is uploaded from my tasks?
None. URL tasks, QR history, and preferences stay on-device. Current release follows the App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.
